Mission Statement: The mission of the Radiologic Technology Program parallels the mission of RSHT. Through various delivery methods, the Program prepares students to apply radiation in a healthcare setting in order to produce diagnostic images using radiographic equipment and imaging systems under the direction of qualified instructors. RSHT’s Associate of Science degree program in Radiologic Technology prepares graduates for entry-level positions in the field. The Radiologic Technology program strives to instill the values and concepts of life-long learning in all graduates. Program Goals: · The students will perform competently in a clinical setting. · Students will communicate effectively. · Students will develop critical thinking skills. · Students will evaluate the importance of professional growth and development. · Program will measure for its effectiveness. Program Philosophy: The philosophy of the Radiologic Technology Program is to provide a quality educational experience to each individual student. The needs of the students remain in the forefront of the daily activities of each employee.
