Going back to school can be a frightening experience! When I first enrolled in the courses at RSHT I just knew that I would fail- or my attendance would be so low I would be forced to drop out! Merely a week into my classes I knew this would not be the case. From day one I felt encouraged and involved with everyone around me at RSHT. The other students and staff were so friendly and supportive. The schedule for my classes fit perfectly into my every day routine. RSHT provided me with a great externship which led to a wonderful job opportunity (Special thanks to Ms. Dana Parham!). Every day I go to work I am reminded that without RSHT, I would have not had this amazing opportunity. Going to school at RSHT was definitely the right decision for me. After a year and a half I earned an Associates Degree in Applied Science and certification in Medical Assisting. RSHT gave me something to be proud of, but the most important thing they gave me was not something money could buy- CONFIDENCE. |

The time I spent at RSHT has truly changed my life. Being able to gain the education and hands on skills needed to start my career in the pharmaceutical industry is one of the best decisions I've made for myself. Upon completing the Pharmacy Technician program I was sent out for my externship at the Commonwealth Clinic. At the end of my externship I was offered a job. I've now been working at the clinic for about 7 months and I love what I do! Working one on one with the patients and helping them when they're not feeling well is a great feeling. I've learned so much from my time at RSHT, and now I'm putting all that to use in the workplace. I look forward to furthering my career in the future, but it all started with my decision to attend RSHT. |
